was there ever an official release about the incident?
I haven't been watching KSAT but today I found out about an incident that happened with Mr. Simmons this past weekend that occurred when he was blitzed out drunk at a club.

many years ago, when i use to party at maddogs downtown i saw that dude all the time really drunk...he thinks hes some sort of superstar...it was funny hearing him bust out the "do u know who i am" phrase....
Yeah, I've seen him hanging out at bars blitzed out of his mind all the time.
I don't know, doubt it. I just found out today via my friend who was at the club.
Also, Tony Parker was there too.

Basically he got a bottle broken over his face and it cut him pretty bad.
The place was Area 31.

I was at Sherlocks Monday night and Gregg was chilling and drinking at the outside bar. He always hangs out and just talks to regular peeps. He looked fine.
Also, seen him pretty drunk at the Jims on 1604 and Blanco.
Dude is also posing in pics with a pack of chicks.
He used to hang out at Jewel's (Martini Bar) years ago. Would see him in there at least once a week when I worked there. Dude would get seriously hammered almost everytime. He'd talk to almost everyone, but hit on chicks & most would say he was a big pervert. But he was always very nice to all us that worked there.
And some people out there try to compare this man to Dan Cook!
I see him at Eden's Patio and Bar every now and then.
He's always at clubs/bars where theres a bunch of younger people. Many say he just sits at the bar drunk as and he tries to hit on younger girls. I also heard that he was beat up recently, so that might be it.
i used to see that head at kennedys off blanco/huebner. in hate gregg simmons because he is a egotistical pos!

i really don't like gregg simmons at all ever since i was like 7 yrs old.
i was at one of the spurs games as a kid, had my larry brown card, got that card signed by almost all the spurs and larry brown and who comes over and ruins it all for me.... no other than gregg simmons himself.
i can remember being so pissed as kid when simmons thought it'd be a good idea to snatch my card from my hands and say, "what you don't want my autograph too?", and he proceeded to sign my card and hand it back to me.

Greg Simmons is a complete lush. There's a Facebook group that basically says "I got wasted with Greg Simmons." The last time I saw him he was at Copa in Stone Oak.
It's hard for me to believe that KSAT 12 doesn't know that he goes drinking almost every night after work or haven't seen one of his infamous pictures from Facebook. I guess his seniority at that station goes a long way.

I remember seeing him at Sherlocks one Monday night. He stood next to me for a while at the bar and we chatted about the Spurs. He seemed pretty cool. Some guy bought him a drink and I told him I bet you get that alot.
Me and my cousin constantly referred to him as The Turtle. Greg "The Turtle" Simmons..I don't know where I heard that from. Probably from this board.
