    No, Mavs win the series. Duncan was a better player than Dirk 4 years ago, no problem admitting that.

    However, replace Adrian Griffin with Bruce Bowen and the Mavs still win the series too.

    Finally, replace Dan Crawford with any other ref in games 3 and 6, and replace Bennett Salvatore with an honest, competent ref in Game 5, and the Mavs are 2006 champions.

    Yet people still remember him being a champion three years ago, while every Mav fan tries to forget what happen four years ago. I think Duncan would have fared better than Dirk, but The Mavs supporting cast was, and still is a total failure, no matter how many 50 win seasons you have. If you don't win a championship, it ain't !
