It's a small fish. My boyfriend caught it at lake Cochituate in Boston when we went fishing this past weekend.

I'll be headed to the coast in June so I'll be taking the sal er and I already have plenty of pics of big freshwater redfish caught this year and I usually go twice a month.

I'll be sure to on your wet dreams again Lil'mo

Also, you should do it by species not just freshwater/sal er. There should be a time stamp on the pic too maybe.
the contest is from this point forward. none of this "oh i caught this last month" bull .

Also, you should do it by species not just freshwater/sal er. There should be a time stamp on the pic too maybe.
if yall want to do it that way we can. Let's keep it native texas fish, though.

    sal er:
    biggest trout
    biggest red drum
    biggest black drum
    biggest flounder

    freshwater:
    biggest trout
biggest bass (small mouth, large mouth, Guadalupe, striped, white)
    biggest catfish (blue, channel)
    biggest bluegill/sunfish/crappie

i've always heard the guadalupe was nice, personally i prefer river fishing to lakes any day. you do any fly fishing for trout there? my favorite place to go used to be up in oklahoma though. the blue river, it was one of the only free flowing natural rivers left in this part of the us. then they started drilling on the aquifer and from what i've heard it hasn't been the same. ever heard of that place?

nah i suck at fly fishing. it's too involved, i like to be able to drink a beer and fish at the same time. never heard of this place called oklahoma, no.

I don't fly fish either. I'd have to get my grandpa to teach me and it takes tons of practice. But as far as catching smallmouth and trout, I think it's the best way to go.

and crofl oklahoma sucks but it's great for fishing. easy to get lost up in the mountains on those dirt logging roads though.

How would you know someone didn't just google a pic and claim it?

    example,

This is my bud with the fish we caught

the fish was on its menstrual period.

does shooting a fish count? im thinking about going alligator gar hunting.

imo, biggest trashfish would be a nice award too. im thinking hardhead, sheepshead, perch, etc. snook are also making their way back into texas. theyve been seen around port A lately.

would red snapper be considered offshore, inshore, or medium shore?

    using non-artificial bait is cheating.

YES. Category for biggest trashfish also. hard head, gar, carp, etc. perch and sheephead are not trashfish though! isnt sheephead = black drum?

Thispego's dad was really impressed by the extent of pego's improvement in his fishing capabilities. And that was already like three years ago. Even creil was like "yeah he's really good at being a fisherman. He's quite the fisherman."

Far cry from back in the late 90's when he would sit around in the lake all day hoping for a nibble and would settle for a 1 foot gar and end up eating it. And if he bbq'ed some gar and you left some meat on the bones? He got really really mad.
