Lisa Leslie's impact was huge, as evidenced by the start of this season.

Thompson looks to be a s of what she used to be in Houston. Parker and that little 3pt shooter are pretty scary though.

Still, it looks like the Mercury, Storm, and Silver Stars will be the prime contenders for the West crown this season.

The Silver Stars look good, except for their bench unit that couldn't create anything. They could indeed use a backup guard like the other poster said. Penicheiro should retire, she doesn't have the fastness to be out there any more.
