We have the same fricking jersey since 96...
Not sure if there's any previous posts or threads on this...please share if so...
But I have always wondered if the spurs would ever do some sort of tweaking to their current uni's. Yes I know they updated the lettering back in 02 or 03 but I'm talking about some major updating. Something like the more modern v-neck types (i.e. raptors, hawks, etc.) Perhaps even a alternate uni??
All I know is that the Spurs have the sickest color scheme in the league and a modern uni would look kick ass.
Probably just wishful thinking, but a good way to pass time before the draft and free agency.

they've worn the "los spurs" and i've seen them in the alternative jersey last year (silver jerseys) but it could be worse. the celtics haven't changed their main uniform since the 70s lol
Maybe, can't comment until we've seen the proposed new look kick ass uni if it ever happens.
I don't understand why the Spurs never change their unis, they're prohibiting themselves from another source of income.
yeah, I suppose they consider their uni's ass untouchable "classic" much like the steelers, raiders, yankees, etc... but even they have that green boston alt uni...so if they can do it...
The Los Spurs and Silver jerseys aren't really in their rotation they're more like promotional gimics. But I suppose it's better than nothing.

Spurs unis are classic. They never look old nor do they look outdated. Personally, I wouldn't change a thing. Especially after they got rid of that early 90's fiesta pink and blue .
ha, taco cabana color scheme was , props to the spurs for changing that...not to mention the "are you ready for this" theme song
And I don't think anyone dislikes the uni's, i just think we're getting a little bored with them. Are they decent, yeah, classic? I'm not sure about that.

That jersey needs to be implemented asap. The Spurs may as well look interesting.

We don't need to "change" our uni's...we only need a 3rd uni in gray with San Antonio on the front..& I mean gray...not silver foil like the last ones.

white silver and black is classy man, it's a unique scheme that no one else can have.

Ok I must admit. spurs have the best color in the NBA. If your a fan you love it and if your not you hate it and want to burn it. I remember plenty times where I wanted to burn them lol.
I'm an LA fan but never of the colors.
I dunno about you guys... but I'd love to see this as an alternate jersey...
Those teams do not play in the NBA and are outside of the scope of what I was implying.

Probably 1% of NBA fans can tell you the answer to this question without looking at wikipedia.
I'm talking about just the spur itself. It was more solid black, over the years it's changed to the one they have now, with the black outline. Is that what you mean by 'slick'?
