Maybe that will leave the spot open for PJ's return.

So who will the team look to pick up to man the bench? Brian Windhorst lists a number of intriguing candidates, including supposed "dream candidates" Phil Jackson and Mike Krzyzewski and "more realistic big names" like John Calipari and Byron Scott. He even names a few sleepers like Jeff Van Gundy and Spurs assistant Mike Budenholzer.
Maybe that will leave the spot open for PJ's return.
pj is so overrrated
he did nothing as a coach for the spurs except take money
Everyone knows PJ was the brains behind the championship defense not popazit. He would have played Mahinmi the minutes needed to be the all-star calibar player he is gonna be.
In before somebody doesn't recognize the sarcasm..
p.j. was the brains of the offense
PJ could sure choke a when he needed to.
the o was not the problem
the lack of belief the ball would go in from downtown was on the whole team
and manu poor shooting after he broke his nose
One less "Yes" man. Sign me up.
Yeah right, like Bud is going to get LeBron to stay in Cleveland.![]()
Who used to "challenge" pop? Can't wait to hear this.......
Actually, it was Hank Egan's Defense. PJ just kept it in check.Everyone knows PJ was the brains behind the championship defense
lol at cleveland hiring coach bud. no way that happens.
especially not if lebron stays
Mike is not ready to be a head coach for a contender
They aren't going to be a contender if LeBron is leaving anyway.
cavs looking for an upgrade
IMO Budenholzer is not that better then Brown
Brown was fired because LeBron was not satisfied.
If they can hire a better coach in Brons mind he will stay.
Unless Bron actually wants Brown to follow him to Chi. Don't forget we're talking about a sport that has more in common with professional wrestling than honesty.
No disrespect to Coach Bud, who I think will make a fine NBA coach in most any other cir stance, I just don't think he's a big enough name or has the necessary coaching skins needed to coach his "Kingness" LeBrick. Getting that spoiled, punk-ass to buy in would be a nearly impossible challenge for even the most elite NBA head coach - much less for a rookie coach.
For entirely different motivations, i would also like to hear who (if any Spur ever) challenged Lord Poppy .
I always thought Budenholzer looked like a mature Corky from Life Goes On.
Ok, here's proof.

Because if at first the assistant coach named Mike you hired from the Spurs doesn't succeed, hire Mike again.
