You typed out that whole list and forgot the two best: Five Guys and Jake's.
I think Animal Style is horrible, but the double doubles and the shakes are the .

Firewheel is really more Sachse than Garland.
Whats all this knobslobbing over five guys about? I've had it a few time and thought it was alright.
Better than average, but not that great.
You have to get the grilled onions on it.
I forgot Chips, that place is good too.
Animal style fries are a must. 's about as expensive as a burger, though.
The principles of the founders seems to be lessening and the influence of the new ownership has the brand moving outwards beyond its initial base. Good to see that the In-N-Out name will be experienced by Texas.
I was thinking In-N-Out was going to be super expensive when I went, but it was surprisingly cheap.
Yeah, they've kept it relatively cheap even as they've expanded throughout CA, NV, AZ, and TX...
Not expensive at all.
It's not expensive, but the one drawback (which isn't really a big deal) is that it doesn't have any dollar menu or any kind of great value menu.
...In-N-Out has long lines?! That sucks. I guess we're lucky to have 2-3 in every city here in Cali. lol
Hint: When you order a "Combo", there's no discount. lol. Just a faster way to say "Burger fries and drink" hahaha
Used to live in SoCal, so I know all about In-n-Out. Good stuff. Animal Style FTW.
But Five Guys OWNS ALL!!! You're on crack if you think In-n-Out is as good as Five Guys.![]()
They have long lines in Cali too though. The In N Out by UCLA has a drive through lane that starts 1/2 a block down and takes 30 minutes to get through usually. The one by Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco is insanely busy (though probably not as bad as the Westwood location). The one on Sunset was pretty busy every time I went to it.
The one of the original stores--in my home town of Lakewood, CA--still is cracking after nearly 50 years of being open. The lines can still be insane after 12am and the crowd is usually a great mix of demographics. I have spent many an afterhour here waiting for my fair (mostly drunk).
What movie or show is that from???
Whataburger is still a fav because its open all day. Nothing like a 3am drunk Whataburger double.
freddy got fingered
