KG has always deferred when the game's on the line (which is covered by Pierce), but he was still a top 5 big in the game when the Cs won it.

I will say this though - the media viewed that as his resurgence year and it is also tabbed as the beginning of TD's decline...when they were virtually the same player on both ends that season.
