Players are dumb asses for arguing with the refs anyway. When has it ever helped them?
incorrect. Players and coaches do it because it works.

All the great players and coaches to refs right after the play: Jordan, Kobe, Jackson, Pop, Duncan, Nash, etc, etc, etc, etc.

If successfully administered, it psychologically and subconciously instills on the ref: "did I make the right call?" then they sometimes tend to do makeup calls or at least put more attention on the opponent's play.

I'm sure the forum psychologists have some good explanation. But the conclusion is it does work, of course it does not work all the time and the dumb players are really bad at it. (Sheed/Perkins) But the smart players/coaches take advantage of it.(Kobe/Duncan/Garnett)

the conspiracy stuff has officially gotten crazy on internet message boards. no matter what happens, it is David Stern's conspiracy.

it's unfortunate that one of the things the internet does is bring together morons so they can support each other in their weak-mindedness.

Or sheep so they can keep NBA branding alive and well.

All things rigged? No. Some things rigged? Absolutely. I still have the recording for the 2002 Kings-Lakers fixaroo. You're blind if you cannot see the fix. End of Boston - Orlando gm 4, watch the last couple fouls in regulation called on KG and Pierce.

Perkins without complaining is like someone without breathing. He has to do it. Just look at his face.

Agreed. the fix to get the Spurs past Phx in 2007 was blatantly obvious. Not black and white, more like a shade of Spurs sliver. (Nice, huh?)
