Not if he wants to win.
He's also publicly stated that Miami is his first choice.
Not if he wants to win.
Miami could easily be in a better position to win than the spurs next year.
They have the cap room to be. Or they could lose Dwayne Wade and not recover for a long, long time.
I don't think an older vet like Bell is the answer. His day has come and gone. The answer lies in players who are 20 something and have not been given the chance or fell on their face when the chance was given. If last year at this time you were told you could have Frye and Dudley most would say pass. It's easy to select a guy who has come and gone. Can you find the guy who is still on his way?
if they lose wade they will be the new jersey nets of 2010-2011.....
I don't think Wade leaves, but if he does Miami will have enough cap space to sign two max FAs and still have 8-10M to fill out the roster.
Jamario Moon anyone? would take a trade to get him out of Cleveland, but maybe a S&T of Mason for Moon works.
mason is better than moon....instead i would do a mason and bonner sign and trade for powe and anthony parker....
