I'll remember to bump this when the Celtics win the series.
Thats right you first heard it here. They're going to be the first team in NBA history to come back from a 0-3 deficit. Sorry Stern but the Magic proved once again they can stop you and your zebras.
I'll remember to bump this when the Celtics win the series.
And you will continue to write essays on a message board.
Since Perkins is suspended game 6 this could actually happen.
Only way Gundy will keep his job. Good luck.
Is he really suspended for game 6?
Unless the league rescinds one of his techs he will miss the next game played, no matter if it is Game 6 of this series or Game 1 of the Finals.
I didn't watch most of this game.. WTF is everyone talking about?
At least one of those techs will be taken away, perkins will play
lol thinking Emperor Stern will let the Celtics lose, get ready to be disappointed
Perkins plays for the Celtics, not the Mavs or Suns. Expect to see him play in game 6.
It must be nice to have technical fouls taken away. Personally, I think technical fouls and flagrant fouls should not change once the game has been played and is over. The NBA should not be allowed to change those calls once the game is over. If you don't want players getting ty calls then hold the refs accountable for their actions. A flagrant 1 called in a game should not be upgraded to a flagrant 2 a day after the in' game has already been played. Perkins got 2 technical fouls tonight and that's how it should stand.
I really hope the Magic do win game 6. I would love to see another Boston team choke. It would be sweet. You know what would be even sweeter? The Lakers blowing a 2-0 lead against the Suns in the WCF and the Celtics blowing a 3-0 lead against the Magic in the ECF. That would be in awesome.
Not rescinding the technical wouldn't really be holding a ref accountable TBH, it would just be punishing the player for a horrible call..if you want to hold the ref accountable, fine his ass..
The NBA doesn't review foul calls, but they definitely should continue reviewing flagrant and technicals..I don't know how you can disagree with that..
Reviewing fouls once the game has already been played is ridiculous and a joke if you ask me. If it wasn't called in the game, don't call it after the game is already over in my opinion.
well Celtics do look like an old truck breaking down as minutes roll by. But they still have 1 home game left. They should advance.
First Perkins was called for a bull foul. Then gets a tech for doing absolutely nothing. With or without Perkins the C's will defeat Orlando in game 6.
Agreed.
Like when the League reviewed the no-call when Fisher came down on top of Barry in the 2008 WCF, and came out the next day and said, "there should have been a foul called". Fat lot of good that does after the no-call has already done the damage.
I wish I shared your optimism. It feels like the wheels are falling off. Now this team is banged up and Orlando is playing with a ton of confidence.
And the same would have been said about Orlando before the start of Game 4, no?![]()
Everyone wrote off Orlando before Game 4, and now that they've won two games, everyone is writing off Boston. I think the men in green have it in them to pull out another win.
Woe be to you if there are two charters going back to Florida.
Im always up for witnessing history, so I'll be down with a Ron Jeremy comeback.
