LA in 5, though it'd be awesome to see the series go 7.
    5???????

I don't mind anyone saying LA in 6 or 7 but in 5 games? Really?

Considering his record of predictions and assessments when it comes to the Celtics this season, that's a very good sign for Boston.

So you predicted Rasheed and Big Baby showing up? I seem to remember you talking a lot about how horrible the bench was all season.

Showing up? I doubt I said horrible, but the bench, or more precisely the big man rotation, is deeply flawed. I wrote the exact same thing a couple of days ago. I doubt I talked a lot about the bench being horrible.

It's your prediction that was way off though. I think that's indisputable, right?

I have to admit I was wrong in the Miami and Cleveland series, but I expected their win in the ECF (though I never thought they'd go up 3-0).

I'm surprised all 10 didn't pick Boston. They've looked better against better compe ion.

Legler picked the Cavs over the Celtics this season. To his credit, he was the only one predicting a game 7. ing Abbot predicted a sweep.

Any news if the slate is wiped clean for the Finals

One thing that could become a factor is if Perkins gets another T. Perkins seven technical fouls in the playoffs, which by league rules results in an automatic one-game suspension.

A one-game ban would follow for every other technical thereafter.

It would be a shame if any player missed a game (1 game could cost you the series, or change momentum) in the series because of that.

I can't believe Hollinger is picking the Lakers. He said the Spurs/Suns was the real western conference final.

The Lakers will not lose a game 6 or 7 at home unless it involves divine intervention and a miracle chain of events. If the Celtics are going to win they will have to do it in 5.

You know, I do think Doc's idea that the T's shouldn't carry over makes sense, and not just cause I'm a Boston homer. Refs will give a double-T alot more than a singular, to make guys aware they're calling it tightly. It just punishes the players who play in the post if they go far into the postseason.

    Perkins better play with control.

I agree Double T's are so ing re ed. I wouldn't mind if they took time to look at the replay to see who really deserved the T.
