Explain how it is that Argentina is perfect in their group, but still manage to end up playing Mexico whom you put 1st in theirs...

didn't put much thought into this, did you?

by the way, if this is your honest prediction...

Perfect in the group and then ending up second? I know FIFA hates Argentina and Maradona but I don't think they can do that, although I'm not sure.

Ur bracket is trash. U must not follow soccer at all.
Group A, France overperformed and cheated to get into the cup.
Group B, SK, will not have the defense to stop nigeria's speed
Group C, England needed two Japan OGs to win 2-1 leaving this group wide open
Group D, Germany and Ghana are both missing Key players. Klose is reported to be in poor form. (my bracket has germany going to deep)
Group E, you might be right only if E'Eto ends up not playing
    Group F, no complaints here
Group G, Ivory Coast had a poor performance vs Paraguay, so Portugal might perform up to par.
    Group H, your right here.

As for spain aka Dallas mavericks winning . I would give better chances to all the dudes who like dudes lining up seeing maradona running down the street

Confed cup USA almost did it. If the teams meet up again USA will do it.

Muser you should be ting in your pants after luck gifting "next years champ for the last 40 years" two OGs vs craptacular Japan. A full squad friendly is a huge measure, you think the teams play for s and giggles?

I don't know what's so funny about the confed. cup, Brazil and Spain went with the best they had and I'm sure they didn't play to lose the games. I can assure you that in Spain there was a lot of fuss about the confed cup during that time.

Apart from it wasn't a "Full Squad" friendly. We started Huddlestone Walcott Bent and Lennon. First half we sucked so badly, you can even see at the time I posted that in the LOL USA thread. Second half was a different story (When the main guys were put on).

Didn't USA lose to Honduras this year? Why would I myself against a team that lost to Honduras?

Look up the roster. The players that matter most were overseas. However your team had a full squad. Do not worry all your talk be worthless June 13 when USA beats your team. (If you actually from England)

    Sonic21 is right

Confed Cup is nothing more than a glorified exhibition tournament

Spain had that mindset when they faced the U.S

If Spain meets the U.S in this year's WC, it will be a blowout

Whiskey, I am on the fence of whether i would like to watch american style football over US National Team, go for england/arg/Brazil/Spain/Dutch/Portugal/ or any other team besides the land I was born, or take repeated kicks to the groan. (if given the choice i would go for the last choice)

Nobody is asking you to go against your team jackass. You'll notice some of us put teams other than our own to win the World Cup. You know what that is? Realism. I still hope Argentina wins it all, I'm not holding my breath though. You should really learn to tell the difference.

And how do you know that? From what I saw in the Spanish media they were very hyped about the confed cup 'cause they wanted to beat Brazil in the final to show everybody that they are the best team in the world.

Brazil, Arg, Denmark, Mexico have won the confederations cup. Teams Played their asses off to represent their respective conference. Its no world cup, but its the next best thing. You are only kidding yourselves if think teams do not take it seriously.

Doesn't matter what you want to watch, if you're so pro Americanyou'd know that here football is played with pads and a helmet and is by far the most watched and followed sporting event in the US.

I'm of Spanish origin, so I just call it futbol. To me football will only ever be one thing.

The Sport that you hardly ever use your foot with the ball compared to the Sport that you use your foot with the ball all the time?

I'm not talking, I just don't get why it's called football in America, lol.
