On a ranch in West Texas north of Marathon. The mountains in the far background of the picture are in mexico about a hundred miles away.

Nah, if you are in West Texas and haven't taught school in the last 20-odd years, it's unlikely. The only ranch my dad visits is his brother-in-laws exotic ranch for hunting.

That's from September 2008 (easjer on the left, SFIE on the right). Very little has changed, though I think I look a lot older now. My hair is still that long and that color, and SFIE pretty much looks the same as well.
