I like it that time when he was in the post and was backing down the defender and then turned and upfaked and then missed the layin. But then he got the rebound and got fouled. He then made 1 of 2 free throws.

This is actually the best pic from the end of the fro, it was December 18, 2005 at the Knicks. The Detroit game on the 25th was the last of it. When he showed up without it reporters asked him what happened. He said he didn't know, it just fell off.
Timmy should have went all out with that thing..
The secret of the afro was that I was able to hide a microphone in there so I could communicate with the refs all the time. Thats how I was always able to get the foul calls

I'm not really into the 'fro-look. I like this look best.
The shaved head is my favourite look.... only because thats what he was sporting while he was at his most dominant during 2001-2004, and especially 2003 Playoffs.
The fro in 2005-06 was disgusting, impo. Van Exel even commented about it during practice one day.
If I had to choose, I'd say the 2nd style/pic J_Paco posted. The do he had at WF and his rookie year was pretty tight too.

was going to say something stupid but after looking at all the posts, it made me that much more appreciative of TD and what he broght to this team. I can't imagne a better fit for the Spurs and follow Robinson. Since I'm not allowed to post new threads, does anyone think we would have had the same success if we would have had Kevin Garnett instead of TD? Would Kevin Garnett be a different or better player if he would have come into the Spurs system with DR and Pop?

I would like to see Duncan and Ginobili grow their hair out again.
duncan's fro could potentially make him a better defender by obscuring a defended player's vision.
