So at the oldest, it's 18 months. And despite the fact that it was available when the iPhone 3GS was released, they didn't use it in that phone. It's not exactly "dated" hardware when it's the fastest processor you can buy in a cell phone at the moment.

Apple is obviously scared. Why are they singling Android out? Because they know that that figure is rapidly changing, and yesterday alone probably shifted a few more points in Android's favor, and will continue to do so as Evos and Incredibles saturate the market.
