Not preaching Kobe greatness. Kobe had a horrible game shooting the ball.

Pointing out how Kobe haters will use anything to bash the guy. Fish comes up big and deserves credit for it. Some Kobe haters would take that and run with it to bash Kobe.
Kobe's performance on both ends of the floor tonight should be enough fodder for Kobe haters.

If Rondo had a mid range shot he would make life easier for everyone on his team. It was sad seeing him left alone from 15 ft. and out all night. He has to at least take three or four of those open shots to keep Kobe honest on D.
Rondo is like Parker in his early career, needs to work on that mid range jumper

That's weak, 21. You were wrong.
    I agree.

He struggled at times ...I just wanted Farmar or Sasha gone not Dfish ...

the celtics are praying perkins gets his next T, cause he absolutely sucks. baby should play 38 minutes and the rest for sheed

He actually played Gasol pretty good early on in the 4th so the C's didn't have to double. They needed to double when Davis was playing Gasol.

Wow, what a horrible loss for my Celtics. Just terrible. Got within one, and just choked it away. Ray Allen... what is there to say? The backlash will be terrible and magnificent. I don't think you could go from savior to bas in one game, so fast.
Ron went from bas to savior in 30 seconds against the suns. This is really strange series.

    Yall can talk .

Dfish was the only one who stepped up when Kobe struggled.
How about Odom with the baseline drive or Gasol with the spin off the post. Defense was solid but KG made some tough shots

yes, but that was because he made one play to win the game. That's happened before.

But to go from world-beater to putting up a stat line that I could probably make if I started for the Celtics? I mean... when is the last time that happened?

Kobe did play a solid game in some ways, but in other ways he was horrible. All those shots he chucked up and missed in the second half he didn't make the effort he should have to get the ball to his big guys.

If Fisher didn't step up this game could have ended up on the list behind his 2004 and 2008 finals type of games.

Neither team should be proud of their efforts tonight. I know that a win is a win but this game was a ty game. The Celtics let Derek Fisher beat them. That's sad and pathetic. However, you could say the same about the Lakers. Ray Allen played like and the Lakers still couldn't put the Celtics away in the 4th until the last 30 seconds of the quarter. And Kobe wasn't his normal self in the 4th either. Why was Ray Allen even in the game in the last part of the 4th quarter?
Because a shooter of his caliber can always hit his next jumper.

Kobe was good defensively but he was HORRIBLE offensively esp. in the 3rd and 4th.

Everyone talks about how great it is Celts have diffrent leading scorer from Game 2 game but that is ALSO dangerous when you can not count on someone from game to game

Yep. At least he played good defense though. That is one good thing about his game. He made a few mistakes on the defensive end, but put in the effort.

Does anyone know if Ray Allen's performance tonight is the worst ever in the NBA finals? Wouldn't that be ironic.

One of KG's best 4th quarter games I've seen in a long while. He hit some amazingly tough shots, usually KG clangs all those shots in the 4th.

I don't think there's a need to do that tonight. But this was one of those games where whichever team lost, it's fans were getting drunk.
