Seems like the Lakers are trying to be too "focused". Anyone else think they need to show a bit more emotion like in Game 1?

Kobe's arrogance had rubbed off on the entire team. Whereas before his teammates would resent Kobe for it, now they embrace it and let it affect their game too. Scrubs like Vujacic and Shannon Brown obviously think they're God's gift to basketball. Even Josh Powell walks around like the other team is beneath his dignity.

Because of this arrogance, they take the other team lightly, they get more butthurt when the other team actually puts up a fight, and they're more prone to worrying about their image and doing stupid like The Underbite or brushing their shoulders off after a hard foul instead of bringing more intensity to the game.

They're just lucky they're clearly better than Boston and there's not much chance they lose this series. Otherwise that arrogance would have bit them in the ass big time.

Every bucket Boston gets feels like an eternal struggle. Other than the occasional steal, nothing comes easy for them.

On the other side, every bucket LA gets looks almost effortless. It's like the Lakers could get a good shot every time down the court, but in typical Kobe arrogance, they go out of their way to make things more difficult for themselves to prove a point.

Boston is outworking and outhustling the Lakers, that's why the series is 2-2. The Lakers are coasting right now. If they turn it up, Boston won't stand a chance.

The Bynum situation is interesting because if he goes out, then things get a little more evenly matched, and Boston will have a fighting chance even if the Lakers match their intensity.

that or maybe Boston was desperate for this win and needed the energy. But i think ther Lakers need to show a bit more emotion....unless you're really good at matching energy without showing it.

True. It does feel like LA gets looks easier than Boston so far.

Still think this series can go either way though.

I agree with this unfortunately. Boston has to work waaaay to hard for shots, while LA gets the shots it wants whenever they want, they just miss them. It seems with LA its one move and they are to the basket. Boston seems a step behind these jerkoffs.

The key term here being "hustle" this game. The Celtics were able to grab more offensive boards this game. Bynum's abillity to clog the paint makes it harder for the hardworking Celtics to rebound the basketball. His absence this game was a major factor and has tipped the series back to balance.

good point...it felt like the lakers wernt trying thier best to box out or to go for lose balls.

Looks like both teams only play thier best when thier back is against the wall.

Fully agree with the last two posts. Celtics only chance of winning this, assuming Bynum is healthy, is to want it more.

Bynum looks like he has the will/potential to at least try, but his body just won't allow him. Sucks
