You know it. I know it, but, Media won't cite it.
It's adorable.
so far the ron artest experiment on rupaul has been working.

The Celtics had no answer for Luke Walton and Derek Fisher last night. Clearly they are the better team.
ain't nobody talking about this. i'm still expecting pierce to have a pierce night at least once this series, but i expected that out of durant too![]()
The reality doesn't fit the story they had ready BEFORE The Finals started. Artest is Media's fall guy. To Media Ron is: the N word, he's persona non gratis in NY., and he's ripe for the pickin'. But, he won't follow their written script. He shoved Durant into a hole, then put the Suns in on top, now he's draggin' Pierce kickin' & screamin' to that same hole.
No.
With 1:41 remaining, the Lakers scored to make it 84-80.
For the remainder of the game, the C's never got within 3 points.

Pierce had a good game by the numbers he put up in Game 1. But I think that's a case where box scores can be a little deceptive... he got it going when Ron rested and a lot of those points were in quasi-garbage time. It wasn't quite garbage time as Boston made a run to almost get it to single digits, but it wasn't a fully compe ive 4th Q either.
Lakers are the better team. they should be up 3-0. their tansition defense and defense on Ray Allen (they overlap to an xtent) in game 2 was really bad, and it cost them the game.
If anyone remembers the 2001 championship, you'd know absolutely nothing is going to happen. Way too many cops.
I hope this series doesn't turn out like the Spurs series 2 years ago where Manu went off for one game from behind the arc and we still lost the series in 5 games. That is what concerns me about this Celtic team verses 08. It seems that the players aren;t on the same page offensively like they were 2 years ago. I guess you can credit Artest for pretty much making Pierce a non-factor so far.
3, 4...
Who's counting?
the only difference is that Ray Allen is healthy and shouldn't be having 0/14 shooting games, while Manu was injured.
i think they are on the same page offensively. the biggest difference b/w this team and '08 is KG's decline. Ray Allen has gone through some huge slumps before. in the '08 playoffs that was one of the main reasons they had such trouble with an inferior team like the Hawks. what helped balance that out was you knew KG was going to produce. they also had Posey, who was better than Tony Allen. but the main diffference is KG's decline. Celtics are up 2-1 in this series if KG is in his prime.
IDK why cully ...
Magic pointed it out (and he sucks in the booth)
But jon barry says Pierce is just mising open shots ...and he gives Ron a "little credit"
Thing is Ron is keeping him off the block and making him earn all his shots and forces him not to be lax with the ball or ronron is rippin' that out!
Yep, Artest is making Pierce delegate to others his responsibility. This partial "no mas" may even be subconscious. Artest is dispassionate in his work against Pierce. That's the impact of Jackson's coaching: "whip 'em, but, don't lord it over them." Same with Boston's knowledge and exploitation of Bryant. They never talk about it in public, they just live it.
Don't give anything away.
I've gotta admit, Phil's done a good job of medicating Artest this year. He's been a good boy.
Pierce reminds me of Billups and Hamilton when the Spurs played them in '05. i don't remember them ever giving the Spurs credit defensively. in the end, it was Bowen's block on Billups that won the series.
The only thing more pathetic than bumping your own thread....
is bamping it.![]()
38 pts on 48% shooting, that's as great as he can get here. that's it.
so he loses because
1) he's a ball hog who takes his teammates out of the game
2) the Celtics will not play that ty again
butthurt laker fans

lmao bump.
Game 7 only confirms my belief that the Lakers are a better team.
Pretty impressive prediction from MiamiHeat when you consider that the Celtics were the huge underdogs in this series..
