You can give your intelligent basketball argument essay all you want, but 29/33 people can't be wrong

    it's a ST poll

And yeah there's nothing else Kobe coulda done last night. It's not like Gasol was dominating and Kobe shot his team outa the game because he wanted to be the hero. They started the 3rd quarter terribly, and Kobe saw the game slipping away. None of his teammates decided to step up with the sense of urgency he had. It was 2008 all over again, KG bullied the s he was supposed to bully.

If Kobe maintains a 45% FG and 30 PPG to close the series, then its not on him. Id put the blame on Artest, Bynum and even Fisher for not helping Kobe and Pau.
45 percent? have you seen his average thus far?

And people thought Dirk was bad at choking. Kobe takes it to another level. But MJ was the biggest choker ever.

I took that as shooting 45% for the rest of the series going forward. In the last two games, Kobe has shot 47% from the field (45.5% in game 4 and 48% last night).

If the Celtics close out in game 6. Forget it, Kobe's legacy will be tarnished forever. He shouldve won game 5 but couldnt do it. If he cant win on his homecourt in either game 6 or 7, he will definitely go down as choker.

Sorry to break it to you lil Kobe.

This isnt by my standards either. Its by his standards as well. Tell me he doesnt look in the mirror everyday and say to himself hes the greatest of all time. He has to believe it in his heart but if he comes up short for the 3rd TIME in the Finals with HCA, and a damn good supporting cast. I would classify it under Failure buddy.

So would he. The guy is the face of all that is basketball today and looks to one day be revered as such MJ,Magic and Bird. But none of those guys have come up short like Kobe has in the Finals. Sure they have lost before but they have Finals series where they have won the game by themselves. They didnt need help in the 4th qurarter from their inferior PG. Fisher is the one with the balls of steel in the 4th quarter it seems. Not Kobe

No apologies needed. He is not the GOAT and he will not be "tarnished" you cant speak in such absolutes ...Bird lost in the Finals to the Lakers twice Magic to the Celts, Sixers, Pistons and Bulls ...

Read your history son ...how did that work out for THOSE guys?

Only spur fans cry that well duncan is "perfect" in the finals so he is better than kobe crap ...

Look find some help for that aging mediocre crew. I understand that duncan is the first legitimate ALL-Time great you guys have had ...(ronbinson and Gervin were stars not all-time greats) so you must knock other guys to protect timmy's legacy ...

So losing to the suns 4-0 tarnishes Tim's?

I don't get why he keeps referring to the Spurs championships as 3 1/2.

    Its probly hilarious though

I can't wait to hear Giuseppe's explanation on how he came up with such witty comedic gold all by himself

Tim hasnt been to back to back Finals so I wouldnt classify it as failure to me as a Spurs fan.

Spurs fans nor the media propogates Duncan over than what he has done. Best PF ever is already in stone. Everyone knows it. Its undebatable.

However, Kobe cant even get past best Laker ever. Maybe one day do it statistically but deep down everyone knows he's 2nd or 3rd to Kareem and Magic.

No Spur fan expects anymore from Duncan. 4 rings is enough. 2 MVP's is enough. He did it all by himself. No EQUAL superstar to him for all 4 runs. Sure a damn good team but no high profile superstar such as himself.

Kobe's first 3 rings are Shaqs. Lets be real.
