I completely don't get Perry's popularity. I know nobody, not a single person, that doesn't think he's snakey as all which pretty much describes my low opinion of him. I want Ann back.

But he won't debate because he has nothing to win and everything to lose by debating. I haven't a clue whether or not Bill White can debate anybody, but Perry is total sleazebucket, and lots of people I know who are rock-ribbed Republicans hate him, too. They will vote for him, though, because he is a Republican.
How can anyone in this seriously imagine that he is not gonna jump to a national ticket if he has a chance? Of course he is.
Probably, because he doesn't have to. Hair Perry is governor of Texas for as long as he wants to be...provided, of course, he's never caught in bed with a live boy or a dead girl.
