I would put it at least in the top 5. Game 7 tonight was almost as bad as games 6 and 7 of the 2002 WCF and game 5 of the 2006 Finals. So where would you rank it in the history of the NBA? And I'm not just talking about playoff games. Regular season games can be included in your discussion.

Top 4 are games 3-6 in 2006. This is number 5. The Lakers-Kings had some bad reffed games as well.

Game 6 of the 2002 WCF comes pretty close to being the worst. Bibby was called for a foul when the rapist elbowed him in the nose.

Along with the 2002 WCF - it was the real NBA Finals that year

easily in the top 5 ... it looked to be fairly called through the first 3 quarters, then the NBA took over and pushed the Lakers to victory with those twenty-one 4th quarter freebies.

The games in the 2002 Kings-Lakers series were the worst officiated ever. Followed by the 2006 NBA Finals. This 7th game ranks in the top 5. What horrendous ing officiating ap ude the refs showed tonight. Wow. I'm still jaw dropped.

I would just like to see ONE PIVOTAL GAME in Kobe's bull career where the Lakers are not total beneficiarys of bull calls. They are always the ones that come out on top of bull officiating and it makes me sick.
This league is such a sham.

I just wish the NBA would admit that the league is rigged sometimes. NBA fans already know it's rigged. Why can't Stern just admit that his precious league is rigged? People would still watch. Wrestling is rigged and people still watch it.

We are basically watching NBA the way that the WWF was from the years of 1986-1997.

Right up there with Lakers-Kings game 6 in 2002 and Lakers-Celtics game 6 in 1984.

More like the 4th quarter. But you can't deny LA was the best team at scoring in the paint last season, which puts a damper on such an argument.

Not rigged. I've seen the 4th quarter several times and there was maybe 1 or 2 questionable calls. By all means though, please post the video evidence of the clear rigging.

It was as honest a 12 minutes of Bryant's life as I've ever witnessed. No game face, just sheer panic as he got close to it. He did what he had to do--instead of what he wanted to do. It was a seminal moment in his life, but, a fleeting one, as he reverted to form in the immediate aftermath of Artest's shot & Vuj's free throws.
