ing lame, all over for Cameroon so soon
Very good game. To bad Cameroon is done. They play very nice game.
Good/lucky win. Now we just need to beat Japan.
organized football wins again.. surprising ? not.
Who in the are you talking about when you say 'organized'?
i'm talking about the professional team that has a rigurous approach to the game and keep their composure even if they play like and don't miss a load of opportunities in such an important game.
Organized was not only referring to the control of the game in all its facets, just at keeping composure, but also to playing like players that went to football academies and it was a nasty joke towards africa in the process.
No need to make up bull to excuse Denmark's performance. They sucked and were disorganized, but played a team playing worse than they were and prevailed. How many World Cups has this 'Organized' football have delivered to these countries you speak of?
I would say about 8 World Cups; look up Germany, Italy, France and England.
Exactly my point. Only 4 Countries from one the biggest Confederations (53 countries in UEFA) since 1930.
the better team lost.......
my original post which started this mini-discussion was made in the context of talent balanced teams. It was meant to say that if one team is slightly more talented and they play all over the opposition and still lose then that means they lack footballing education (bc of loss of composure) .. look at the dutch and their game and you know what I mean.
Furthermore, it's normal that the best talented and best prepared/organized teams win. That's why germany and ita have more argentina for example (and argentina always had loads of talent), because even if ger and ita were not as talented they were much more organized = knew how to keep composure and how to make the best out of each match no matter their condition.
Hopefully this clarifies it. And yes the danes played like but it changes nothing of what i've said.
And my original point is that there's nothing in the game yesterday that could lead someone to believe one team won because there were more organized. Every pundit I saw after the match said it was an exciting match because it was the worse defensive showing in the WC thus far. Cameroon hit the post a few times and could've easily been 2-2. But Denmark made more use of their goal opportunities, but it hardly has to do with organization.
Germany historically have been loaded with talent and they have an excellent football program so I don't agree. I guess in your definition Brazil is the most 'organized' team in World Cup history although that seem to contradict your stance. Again, if it's organization that makes teams like GER and ITA great, that acutally makes the rest of UEFA nations seem 'disorganized' for their lack of success in the WC.
And you simply said "organized football wins again." I'm sure how that equals "knew how to keep composure and how to make the best out of each match no matter their condition." It just seems like you're altering your definition now that I address it. But it doesn't matter, I still don't agree.
worst soccer post I've ever read. I think you're implying that African teams are not organized and don't keep their composure AND I can sense a bias. "also to playing like players that went to football academies"There are numerous African players that have great technique without attending a football academy. Have you watched any U20 tournament featuring african team....for example U20 Ghana defeating Brazil.
Both team were disorganized. The game could have easily been 3-3, 4-4 or 3-2 either way. Your definition of organized is bat crazy. Just say both teams played horribly on defense. That's what makes this the beautiful game. Even if you're more organized, it only takes one chance from the other team to change that.
