Never got 'em, tbh.
They're just such a coffee house-lovin, pretentious Austinite's band.

This thread was supposed to end with this post.
Wasn't a fan of The Eraser, but Harrowdown, Black Swan and Cymbal Rush have redeeming qualities to the album.
I'm watching the 2nd one right now, sooo good

How do you not like Analyze?
Is good, man.
I've watched it 4 times in the past few months
I doubt I will tell you guys anything new, but there are plenty of full Radiohead shows on youtube. Right now, I'm listening to one of their 2008 tour (I attended one of those shows).

Yup. AustinBrock.
The first time my kids heard this song (ages 4 and 2) this had this look on their face that said, "What. Was. THAT?" But they love the song.
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-ck I lost my Pablo Honey cd
also somehow Idioteque ended up on my computer, so I gave it a listen. It bummed me out because it sounded very different from the first time I heard it (on SNL). The MP3 I have just sounds too mechanical.
Hopefully I can someday pull the recording off the vhs I have.
Pablo Honey is good for Blow Out.
And Live version of Idioteque sounds much different, and vastly superior. Like Spinning Plates, as well.
There's a live version of Idioteque that I found and downloaded. It's pretty damn good. But the album version is damn good too. In fact, here. Try this one on for size.
i'm tripping on 15 step lol
Canal version is the best live recording. Also good is the BBC session recording.
I listen to a lot of bands. Some bands more so than others. But Radiohead is by far my favorite band alive. Green Day got me into rock music and has to be second because I just have a place in my heart for them.
Nirvana is my favorite band period because they just strike a chord with me every time I listen to them.
But Radiohead opened my eyes and let me know that a band can do something different every album and still be amazing at it. Some bands fail miserably when they experiment. Radiohead is NOT one of them.
Third favorite song off of Kid A.
My problem with the last two albums is that they don't sit and grow on you like the previous three did for myself. Hail to the Thief was their second worse album, and In Rainbows isn't an album that blows you away the way Kid and and OK computer did for me. And from what I'm hearing now, I am expecting more of the same for LP8.
And Amnesiac gets unwarranted hate. Third best behind Kid A and OKC. 2deep4u.
Amnesiac was secretly very, very good. Hail to the Thief was great.
How can you say that songs like this don't blow you away?
And this is such a hauntingly beautiful song. My wife used to ask me why I love it so much but it's just so beautiful I can't help it.
Where I and and You Begin is the best song on HTTT. But it just has so many bad songs. Punchup, We Suck young blood, backdrifts isn't very good, and Go to sleep is bad. They even have the inferior I Will version on the album. They could have replaced all of those with the superior Amnesiac B-sides. And In Rainbows is just good, but doesn't get them back to the level they were at before HTTT.
