they got gasol for nothing 3 weeks before the tradedealine
ron artest cost the lakers alot
however he played well in game 7
I am not really that up on the NBA Salary cap, and players signing for the MLE or whatever that is. But my question is, there is no way that we have a chance on signing a big name this summer? Or even a guy like McGrady say if he was interested in playing for us? And how is it that LA can sign all these players and we can't? Almost reminds me of the Ravens and the Redskins.

LA has money wrapped up in 4-5 players, the spurs have 20 mil to duncan, 16 mil to y j, 10 mil to tony longoria, 10 mil to Manu play for my country ginobili, and 30 mil to matt bonner, his dog and his secret that he can't tell...
wtf? Spurs just waste there money on a bunch of that don't equate to a trophy...
I heard that LA could be even better next year, I call BS. They need a healthy Bynum and a starting PG to play ahead of D Fisher, good luck with that.
Spurs are going to be much better regardless. Splitter is most likely coming and Tony hopefully will be injury free, if RJ doesn't play well we ll trade his expiring contract by Jan. Blair will be better and so will be G Hill. I can't wait to see Mason and Bonner go.
I just don't see how we can play any worse.

the way for the spurs to get a big name is for the FA to take a huge paycut and get the MLE which is around 5 mill OR via Sign and Trade.
, he's set to make more than Artest next season![]()
i think the qualifying offer means morrison will be a restrictive free agent. i doubt the lakers will be resigning him.
Speaking of the Laker FAs, Mbenga for the min? Hmmm....

This guy is terrible!
Morrison looked good in his first season in the NBA, I wonder what happened.
Have there been anymore rumblings from RJ about opting out this summer?
