I think there are still some good prospects for round 2

Our new teammate is James Anderson, from OK St. Shooting Guard. Welcome to the Spurs, man!
I think there are still some good prospects for round 2
That would be ideal, but his learning curve will be steep coming into this system. Also, the defensive transition will take some time.
They are wrong but I also think that his "questionable" defense is being blown out of proportion by others. As long as he is put in to defend 2s or smalls 3s I think he can be decent.
DX a year ago said he was a decent defender but their latest evaluations said that he was below average. I'm thinking that he regressed on defense because he was pretty much the entire offense for OKST.

The Hornets will select Quincy Pondexter with the 26th pick, league source says.
Oh, and by the way - Daniel Orton? Hassan Whiteside? Where are these guys bottoming out?
The system doesn't work because we don't have a lockdown perimeter guy any more, which exposes Tim's slowing legs. Give him perimeter cover again and that might change things.
Is Manu tryng to be the popular guy around the locker room? Better yet is he the Team Guest Welcomer?
James shot like 37% from 3 the last three years plus he's improved massively there tbh. He's definitely has enough athleticism to play the 3 imo. Sczerbiak comparison is pure hyperbole.
I'm a huge Texas fan and there is no way I would of picked James over Anderson. James can't play the 3 or the 4.
LOL, talk about an orange and white homer.
Hornets get Pondexter in the trade. Makes sense with Mo out.
Durant looks pissed
Orton sucks. Not sure about Whiteside. Dude has a 7'7 wingspan. That's gotta get you into the first round right?
James has improved year after year. The problem is he was always and is still a tweener.
He has not made good enough strides in his shooting (spot up or off the dribble) to anywhere near an NBA level. He has improved catch and shoot but still not to an NBA acceptable level or range.
He has made next to zero improvement in his dribbling.
He can be a decent change-of-pace role player, to get out there, rough people up, and get some rebounds, but we already have that. And he's taller. His name is DeJuan Blair.
Not sure of Anderson's ability, but it wouldn't be a bad idea in terms of keeping Manu's handling/playmaking skills on the court with the 2nd unit and freeing up George to do more of what he is naturally inclined to do on offense: score, off the ball.
At this point, who knows. At least the guys who are sliding deserve to slide this year.
Holy did Van Gundy just call Rod Thorn outstanding? He has one of the worst draft records in history. MJ was like 30 years ago.
Yup, have him play Rip Hamilton's role in Detroit. If you want him to score, run him off screen after screen after screen.
Wow, it really has been 26 years since Jordan was drafted. It doesn't seem like that long ago...
not just the draft, he's the guy who gave Carter and Jefferson their brutally stupid contracts.
haha i hope espn doesnt draft coverage next year, or at least replace scott like they replaced steve a
