Hornets trade Aldrich, Peterson to Thunder
New York, NY (Sports Network) - The New Orleans Hornets traded their first- round pick center Cole Aldrich along with guard Morris Peterson to the Oklahoma City Thunder for a pair of lower first-round picks.
The swap was reported by multiple media outlets. Aldrich was taken 11th overall out of Kansas and Peterson played the last three seasons in New Orleans, averaging 7.1 points and shooting 38.5 percent from three-point range with 62 triples.
The Hornets used the picks to select Kentucky point guard Eric Bledsoe at No. 18 and Iowa State forward Craig Brackins with the 21st selection. Bledsoe was then reportedly shipped to the Clippers for a future first-round pick.

yes very much so. Peterson and his $6 million to ride the bench is gone

lol son did you not notice that our 1st round pick was a white guy??? ... by trading him we increased our chances of winning. it was also a bonus to get rid of Mo Peterson as well.
True that; never seen a white center succeed. Besides Cole is a country hick with missing tooth.

sons if this foolishness happens then I hope the entire city of New Orleans will riot and loot the Hornets headquarters and George Shinn's mansion making the Katrina looting look like a Thanksgiving sale shopping spree.
