This is what I don't get. Why would people care? I mean, it's like caring about the cardboard cutout of Peyton Manning that they have at your local Best Buy hawking TVs. That's how one-dimensional these people were.
The ladies... let's see, you had the girl next door, the business/ , and the hippie/ditz. Then, you had the jock/dumbass, the 'funny guy', and the sensitive nerd. And while I didn't watch the show much, the few times I did, they never one played opposite to their stereotypes. I never saw Phoebe have an intelligent thought. Never saw Jennifer Aniston be selfish/ y. Never saw Schwimmer do anything requiring even a mild amount of courage. Etc etc.
The reason I like It's Always Sunny is because of its unpredictabillity. Are they almost all crazy? Sure. Are they realistic? Not really. But they are ANYTHING but predictable. Plus, the show's actually funny, so that helps.
