I personally don't see Mexico or Argentina beating Germany, they were my pick to win it all.

spain/brazil beat germany .. team is too young and does not have as much cohesion as the brazilian/spanish team (midfield control attack and def). Sure on a bad day for bra/spa germans would beat them but statistically they usually lose against that style of play and in the conditions of being undertalented.

If you are a true contender you don't care who you play. I prefer to beat all the great teams in the path to the trophy, not win by cheating and being lucky italy style. If we lose to ned and lose cause we're the lesser side it's okay.
