It's not about excuses... Mexico was outplaying Argentina once again. This time, it wasn't an amazing goal that killed them.

It seems like you want to be on denial as far as the refs in this world cup. This certainly doesn't help your cause when it comes to that.

I definitely didn't expect them to win, but right now Argentina free goal is going to be remembered... especially by us.

This team coming in seemed like they were confident that they could beat this team.

Like I've been saying over and over... that's the reason this team loses, when the game changes on an offside like it did.

That's it, their mind is not in the game... they become nervous and lose all composure.

    You're witnessing this
those are excuses dude.....many teams are getting ed by officiating. what sucks is that Mexico went from world beatings to playing like school boys. Those defensive mistakes are not caused by officiating. Now they are arguing with the refs like they think they've lost already....disgraceful.

    lol FIFA

I think it's pretty obvious by now that they should use the help of the technology. Expect a lot of compensation calls in the second half, the refs know they screwed up thanks to cameras in the stadium, another FIFA fail.

I've been pretty straight forward about what I think about the reffing this tournament, there is no denial.

Yes, that was offsides. Mexicans taking the opportunity to blame it instead of themselves is pretty ing pathetic. Not even the English are blaming the loss on the goal.

and by the way, Mexico is STILL outplaying us, and you're still losing. To say it should be 0-0 is ing laughable. Say it should be 0-1 if anything... which means you'd STILL be losing.
How can you blame the Mexicans on a terrible ref call?

    Either way 2-0>1-0

I guess you expected Argentina to be given a gift by Osorio anyways?

If you really think it could've still been 1-0 then why isn't it 3-0?

2 gifts... yeah one was Mexico's fault, but had that offside not happened, what are the chances that it happens again?

Let's say Messi scores on one of his chances, what about Mexico's chances?

    Your logic doesn't make sense

No one should be surprised by this. The moment Mexico faces ANY adversity, they crumble.

    ADD INSTANT REPLAY.

First goal took everything out of Mexico. Moreno shouldve been in there instead of Osorio too.

Why are you such a ?

Let me put it this way, if Mexico decides to pack it in because of an uncalled offside, they deserve to lose, period.

So far, it doesn't look like they are packing it in. They are still outplaying us.

They've witnessed, just like you and I.. that most teams that end up getting screwed like they just did end up losing. They might be giving up already, but trying to fight it like they did was smart and they had the right to do that. They made the ref think about the call and it MIGHT help us in the second half.

You can't have those types of mistakes, especially against a team like Argentina

Mexico doesn't have the mental toughness of the US team to rebound from goals although they have more talent. If you put Mexico's talent with the US's heart and toughness and a keeper taller than 5'8" you'd have a very strong and hard to beat team.

I like the announcer : "Will these Argentinian players ever just get up when they go down instead of laying on the ground looking to get someone booked? It gets tiresome."

    dirty floppers

the "what if" game you are playing has no logic, so what exactly are you asking me? you're saying Osorios up was because of the first goal, I'm saying you're full of . "What ifs" are excuses, period.

This half has been all Argentina. They look like the team that is 10 times better.

The first goal sucked for Mexico, but that there is no excuse for that second one.

Mexico looked like the better from the tip off till the 8th minute. Then it all went downhill.

Not because he's getting fired. He said he was done after the World Cup when he took the job. Now he gets to ride off into the sunset..
