I don't really cared much about Tiger's personal life. He is a great golfer and that is why I am a fan. All this other crap is just fodder and sensationalism. And like we all aren't fake at one time or another....I know I've faked it.
Exactly. Sure, Tiger could have stood his ground and probably reduced the amount he'd have had to cough up by a nice chunk of change. But it's not worth it. She was going to get a load of money no matter what. What's the point in dragging the whole process out for another year or more with all of your dirty laundry being made public so that you only end up having to cut a $600 million dollar check instead of a $750 million dollar one? Just cut the check and be done with it.

The only thing I have an issue with is the bit about any women not being near the kids. It is ridiculous that if Tiger is in a serious relationship that he is barred from having this woman around his kids and having them meet her and get to know her. If he does somehow decide to get married again, he is not allowed to let these kids spend any time around her until after they are married. That is stupid and unhealthly. I think that Elin assumes he will choose a woman over the kids and not spend time with the kids then- which is what I think she really wants. I expect her to be in for a surprise. The story says that she expects him not to request the kids much, but she should not be surprised if he takes every opportunity to get them if he is not golfing in a tournament that week. Plus, he surely can hire a nanny and leave the kids with her during his time of custody. No one says you have to spend every minute with the kids while they are in your custody. She surely does not.
maybe a better discernment before you actually get married then to determine if that is the person you want to be tied to until you croak.
too many people look at marriage as a mere convenience these days, when its something that shouldnt be entered into lightly, but only after a lot of discernment and thought and prayer over rather or not that is the right person for you.
And it also depends on where you live as far as the whole 'half' thing. Things are not so cut and dried anyway in all cases. But that doesnt really apply to the main point.
Be careful-- the self-righteous are the ones who often end up in these cir stances. Many people do exactly as you suggest and still have a spouse leave them.

Here's the deal - there's a lot, I mean hundreds of millions of dollars worth, of skeletons still in that boy's closet. Everyone already knows that he banged countless chicks, so there's no reason for him to agree to such a harsh settlement over that. That white demoness flat out blackmailed his ass. Either he's gay or had gay sex, has been taking the PEDs and she knows/can prove it, or he's been doing some illegal, Really bad stuff. My vote is on the first two.
Personally, I think she was a gold digger from the start and him doing this was just her ticket to bank huge and a lot earlier than she planned. My guess was as soon as the kids were grown she'd be out the door with a couple hundered mil or so, but these skeletons she knows about and the public situation allowed her to cash in a lot sooner than she could have for a much bigger amount. Tiger still has a hard on for Jack's record and his public lovefest so he'll pay that much to keep it secret.
Personally, if you're giving me $750 mil you can write every day on every news channel about how bad I am, that I'm an axe murder and all around horrible person. I don't care, I'll take my 750 mil to some island where nobody speaks English under an assumed name and live it up til I die.

It has to be PEDs, as even a love for cack wouldn't bury him as much as PEDs would, but that will eventually come out. , with this type of weird, outrageously expensive, completely one-sided settlement, you're just begging people to dig deeper than they already are.
