I haven't seen true blood, so I don't know.
I haven't seen any True Blood, but I was thinking about renting the first season on Netflix. Not crazy about the soap opera stuff though... But really, everything turns into a soap opera... Californication, Weeds, etc etc.

At least True Blood isn't as bad as Entourage. That is awful.
WTF!?!? If a character goes from being well to being sick...that is development...don't try to make a simple, moronic story line so deep. It is what it is...simply entertainment.

I've never watched 2 1/2 men before nor sex and the city. I do like the actors on the show so one day I'll go rent or borrow season 1 to see what all the hoopla is about.

I think I watched one episode of TrueBlood at the behest of my brother. It sucked. Admittedly, I dont watch TV shows.
I didnt need an opinion on Twilight to know it sucks, books, movie, whatever.
For those who like it, great, you have just submitted an ever-growing mountain of proof to studio execs that derivative, half-baked bull with no plot, no characters, no direction and no acting pile of slop will top the all-time charts in sales and distribution.

Look at the success of those lame reality shows. If people weren't watching they wouldn't be on. I know many who watch Jersey Shore and think it is great. I don't like twilight but JC is right that is isn't oscar worthy but simply entertainment which some people enjoy and others find it sickening.

What one considers art another may consider crap. As I've stated before, a book or a painting doesn't have be a "classic" or a literary genius type of work for me to like it. I'm a simple man with simple tastes.
Of course books and art are relevant...to the eyes of the beholder that is. Or maybe not.

Well I dropped my girls and some friends to watch Eclipse and I was telling them how I was getting bashed in here for liking this and low and behold...both of their friends said, "My dad watched it and like it". Ha!!!
