I like the one that "goes out on a limb" and compares him to Elton Brand.

If he's comparing him to the old, fat, injury prone Elton Brand, then maybe he can hit that ceiling.

Yeah, but something tells me he was more referring to 2006 Elton Brand

Those posters are stupid if they ever think Blair becomes just as close as Barkley career wise.

Comparing Blair to Barkley is stupid, but so is Mav fans and Sun fans acting like he's some scrub. He averaged 17 and 14 per 40 minutes. In 18 minutes off the bench he averaged 7.8 ppg and 6.4 rpg. He's an awesome player to have in your rotation as 15-25 mpg player off the bench.

Also, he's not fat. But he could stand to lose 15-20 lbs so he could play pf more effectively since he's too short to play center against many teams though.

MY favorite is a "thicker Dennis Rodman who can score". Rodman was maybe the best rebounder of all time ( Bill Russell), that comparison was beyond moronic. Rodman was the perfectly fundamental rebounder always in the right position and he developed ways to grab rebounds over taller players. All Blair can do when rebounding is use his fat to keep people away from the ball.

per 40 minute numbers are irrelevant to a player who's knees would fall apart if ever played more than 20 MPG.

Rodman should be in the HOF tbh. Way better than players like Dumars, Worthy, and Dennis Johnson in my eyes.

Truth. In his prime an all NBA defender and he could flat out anchor a team's rebounding on his own.

Lol at Mav and Sun fans refusing to break out of trolling mode to admit that he's an extremely productive player to have coming off your bench. Hurts any credibility tbh. And the per 40 minute numbers are relevant because when he's in he produces at an extremely high rate.

Too bad he's fat and can't be in for more than 10 minutes at a time.

    Dominque "Dwyane Wade" Jones.
you keep saying this.................. has one Mav fan on this site even hyped up Jones? I saw one thread about him and most just called it a good pick.

No need to fix it for me, I'll say it myself:

Rodman should be in the HOF tbh. Way better than players like Dumars, Worthy, and Dennis Johnson and Dejuan Blair in my eyes.

    Rodman's defense>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Blair's defense

Rodman's the best rebounder ever as well. I agree with that.

That's why Blair needs to lose some weight, if he were 6'10 his weight would be fine but since he's 6'7 he needs to play pf some of the time and he can't guard any quick 4s at his weight.

So would you agree he's not the next Barkley?
Of course not, I'm not re ed but he's awesome as a backup 4/5.
