G-State restricted free agent Anthony Morrow has slew of interest, including Spurs, Celtics, Lakers, Blazers, Clips and Jazz, sources say.

Those lists always include the Spurs. Those players always go elsewhere.

Wait, what? Another SG? That makes no sense.

It makes sense that the Spurs would be interested in getting a guy who has made 46% of his 3 pointers in his 2 year career. It doesn't make sense to think that the LLE will be enough to pry a restricted FA away from GS.

Not happening. With Manu/Anderson/Hill all getting minutes at SG he won't come here. Spurs can't offer him nearly as much money as he will get elsewhere either.

why can't players like Morrow be 6'7 -6'8 , they always seem to be in the 6'5 range

and only way the Spurs get him is in a sign and trade

It doesn't make sense since they already have 3 SGs and need backups at PG and SF. Add on to that the price tag and it goes into the negative.

    Would love to get Morrow.

That said, the chance is close to zero that you get a restricted player with Morrow's talent for the LLE.

If the Spurs have any chance whatsoever, it would have to be a sign and trade, or it means Splitter isn't coming over. Splitter > Morrow.

Pretty much..it happens every single year..

I wouldn't mind him, but Morrow is overrated and he's going to cost too much..I'd be surprised if the Spurs acquired him..

RJ would do well in that system. Maybe Nellie still has enough pull to do us a solid.

-Arguably the best shooter in the NBA..
    -Good rebounder..
    -Below average ball-handling..
    -Not a good driver..
    -Average defender..

Golden State got rid of Maggette and Azubuikie's future is questionable..I would assume they would pay him the same as any LLE offers..if they don't, a lot of other teams will..teams are always looking for shooters like this..

Hey, I also heard that the Spurs are interested in LBJ, Wade, Bosh and Dirk. Any truth to that? Thoughts?

After the shooting debacle against the Suns, of course the Spurs are going to be interested in a guy who could go down as the best three-point shooter in NBA history. As others have said, he'd be a great fit for the Spurs ... but there's no way the Spurs can land him unless Splitter doesn't cross the pond. Even then, the compe ion would be steep and the fact that he's restricted would make it doubly difficult.

Pronounce the J and use a hard I in fajita. It sounds hilarious.

I could see Nellie declining RJ and just going with a double order of fajitas.

Cubes would decline just out of spite, although his stomach might gurgle throughout the entire phone call.

Riley could use the leftover grease for his hair.

Gilberts sense of smell is surely overdeveloped, with his impaired vision and all. He might not be able to resist a pound of sizzling strips.

Hey, I've almost convinced myself that this might work.
