how many locations does espn have for reactions. those reactions are better than the players.
, calm down. he wont play the next game that is more than enough of a punishment

Considering they won't get past the next round it's pretty much the same thing
Exactly, nothing worng with what Suarez did, he gave his team the best chance to win, and there was nothing ilegal going on, everything was called acording to the rules.
What? That's re ed, Ghana got their reward they got a PK and got to choose their best guy to take it. Gyan just ed up. If it were the other way Forlan would've nailed it for the win. That was a smart play by Suarez, but now without him Uruguay will have to play perfect ball and Forlan will have to shoot them to the le game.
The last play yes, i'm not blaming him for doing it if it was England i'd want one of our players to do it. It was cheating and Ghana choked.
tell that to Ghana. I think players will do what they can to win for their team, but there should really be a price to pay. Whichever way you look at it, it was cheating. Call it smart or not, but it was cheating, and I don't think Uruguay should be able to use Suarez for the rest of the tournament. Its not going to happen, but that's what I think should happen.
Now that was an easy intentional handball! Where is the crew that still thinks Kewell's handball was intentional?
Poor Ghana........ Australia could have taken down Uruguay in penalties just like in 2005
Congrats Urunobili, must feel good having your team make the Semis!Going to be a tough ask vs the Dutch
Nice guys finish last, gentlemen.
Suarez will be a national hero for that red card. He saved them.
100 times out of 100 times, you handball and take the penalty kick in that situation. It's better than giving up the sure goal.
The automatic red is a suspension. No way that deserves more than a game you Ghana loving freaks.
lol @ cheating... it's not like Suarez didn't get a red card or Ghana didn't get a penalty...
To be fair, thats not like fouling a player - its like goaltending and then having the player shoot free throws.
Karma is a isnt it ghana? congrats to urugino and his fellow countymen, good luck vs the dutch.
i agree. He basically stole the semi final from Ghana.
Yeah - its not cheating. Commiting a penalty is not cheating.
two things...
1) For all you ers saying we didn't deserve to win... watch the game again... count the on goal chances for each team and then post. Suarez is a stud and doesn't matter if we get butt ed by Holland, his save will be right up there on the greatest plays ever in a WC because of the outcome
2) Can someone please tell Maradona that Uruguay is playing this worldcup? He asked on an earlier interview "Uruguay is playing in the world cup?"
The worst sports feeling I've ever had was when Cameroon failed to qualify for the cup 4 years ago because of a missed penalty. That doesn't even compare to this
So I suppose ya'll think Henry was a hero as well?
Bull , that hand was illegal, and the punishment doesn't fit the crime IMO. Ghana ed up yes, but there would be no question they'd be through if Suarez hadn't cheated. I think the penalty for this like this needs to be more severe.
cheating is a handball and the ref not seeing it... see: maradona '86
Yup.
ed up. I feel bad for Ghana. They still choked, but it seems unfair.
Henry handball wasn't called. Different thing altogether.
lol Why didn't you lose respect for Brazil when Fabiano touched the ball with his hands twice? I'm seriously getting tired of hearing all this wanna be puritan comments.
I think the cocaine ed his brain.
Remember the "press conference" with Müller where he thought he is a ballboy etc. The dude was playing 90min before that.
Guess Maradona really prepare himself for the games...
