different sports. i think the best comparison might be a flagrant 2 to prevent a layup. you still suffer a penalty but if the guy is a 60 % ft shooter youll take your chances there

Your opinion, but regardless of what you say, he committed a penalty and it was handled according to the well-established rules of the game. Admittedly, those rules are imperfect (don't get me started), but blatant cheating? Nah, he did what he had no other option but to do with his country's ass literally on the line.

Yes it would still be cheating. This is not debatable. What the do you think a red card represents? You're ejected from the game for unsportsmanlike behavior. Stopping a certain goal with your hands isn't supposed to be part of the ing playbook.

The only thing I'm questioning is the punishment should be more severe. There is no question Suarez cheated.

Why? They did beat Ghana fairly. There were no ref mistakes going on, I guess Horry is a cheater for hip checking Nash, or Pop for doing the hack a Shaq.
