Price, Buchholz, and Lester are all better.
Suck ass Angels bullpen has blown about 6 wins.
12 starts giving up 2 earned runs or less.
8 starts of 1 or less earned run.
5 starts were shutouts, all pitched at least 7 innings.
8-3 should easily be 12-3 at least.

Set your donuts down and watch a game, don't just rely on a boxscore.

By the numbers, it's Cliff Lee.
Win/loss in baseball is the worst stat ever kept.
Outside of having an ERA .4 lower than Weaver, Weaver has him beat in pretty much every major category...including leading the AL in strikeouts.
How about this stat?
Jered Weaver has pitched more than 7.0 innings in a game exactly ONE time this season. It was in a blowout in Seattle (8-0) and he pitched a whole 1/3 of an inning more. 7.1 innings. Maybe his win-loss record isn't that good because he never makes it past 7.
Set down your Pat Riley blow up doll and watch a game.
Weaver isn't even close.
I just gave you an example of one player whos better, but isn't even the best.
You have Cliff Lee who has dominated, and you think Weaver?
Are you kidding me?!?!
Another stat for you. Weaver has had one more start than Price, yet with only going past 7 innings once, he has still pitched 7 or more innings more than Price has.
Yeah and apparently that's his limit.
Dude can't even make the All-Star team when it's at his home stadium.
OAKLAND, Calif. -- Andy Pet te is an AL All-Star -- again.
Pet te will replace injured Red Sox pitcher Clay Buchholz for next Tuesday night's game at Angel Stadium in Anaheim.
The 38-year-old Pet te was added to the team Monday because he was next in line in voting by AL players. The players select five starters and three relievers and Pet te was sixth on that list.

In voting by his peers, Weaver was rated as no better than the 7th best starter in the American League.
An example of whom you claim was better, but you offer no support whatsoever. I had already responded, and Marklar MM swatted you down with this:Offensive run support, bullpen comparisons?and yet here you are spewing again.Another stat for you. Weaver has had one more start than Price, yet with only going past 7 innings once, he has still pitched 7 or more innings more than Price has.
Eric_BLees been great. Weavers been great. Lee-Weaver, Weaver Lee. Doesn't matter to me, wanna call them even or 1-2? Go for it.You have Cliff Lee who has dominated, and you think Weaver?
Are you kidding me?!?
Take a pause between jelly donuts, watch a Weaver game.
You realize how the voting works right. 16/36 of the AL roster play for the Yankees/Red Sox/Blue Jays.
5 are west coast(Mariners, A's, Angels...(1 of which made it because of the 1 per team rule).
Yeah I know how the voting works. The fans vote for starters and the managers pick the reserves. So the guy couldn't get voted in when the game is in his hometown.
lol hometown fans don't even think he's good
Oh so your question was more of a, "waaaah why does the AL East get all the gold stars"?16/36 of the AL roster play for the Yankees/Red Sox/Blue Jays.
East Coast bias!5 are west coast(Mariners, A's, Angels...(1 of which made it because of the 1 per team rule).
Gimme a break. He pitches for the team hosting the game and couldn't even get voted in. On top of that, without recent injuries, the AL Manager didn't even want him.
Fans vote for the starting position players then the players vote for the second string position players and the first five starting pitchers and the first three relievers. As I mentioned in a previous post, Weaver was rated as no better than the 7th best starting pitcher by his peers, as Pet te replaced Bucholz on the team by virtue of finishing 6th in the player vote.
I read an article about Girardi's role. He had seven slots to fill. The first five had to go to players from teams who didn't have any player voted on by the fans or the players. That left two slots totally at his discretion. He took ARod and CC. No surprise there. He also selected the five players on the ballot for the final slot.
Well you can take Weaver off the 1st half Cy Young list.
Got the usual support from the Angels, 1 run and 2 runs the last two starts.
Still Weaver gave up way more then his average.
