Forlan has just been spectacular in this tournament. It's not just the goals -- he's been a consistent threat from all over the place and both on set pieces and in the run of play.

    Done stating the obvious.

while thats nice...its not shockign at all...ow many players do you have with more than one goal? most goals are scored in the box...so how many players with two goals outside of the box do you have?...and so on

but he is really good...as much as I love him, I hate Suarez (not for the handball, but for his coments --celebrating himsel-- afterwards)!

Really torn about that game. I love to have a small number of teams, that have won it (so I would have to be for Uruguay), but Holland would give Spain a nicer fight and would be the perfect matchup for Germany!

Forlan has been marked a lot throughout the tournament. He's that good. Holland lost track of him for a min and he made them pay.

Ref should have given a red card the the dutch player that fouled the Uruguayan on the knee... the face kick was not intentional... unfair result up to this point... two offside calls non existent plus the orange is getting away with a lot with the refs on their side... if we're to win this it'll be against FIFA apart from the team in front... AGAIN...
The offsides where close, but nothing big no matter what they call. I thing the Ref does a nice job so far (especially while beeing from Usbekistan).

Yeah it was right in his range but he got deceived by the hook on Forlan's left foot strike and made just a slight hop to his right that took him out of position. Was an excellent strike to put on goal because small mistakes can easily happen.

That strike from the Netherlands back was one of those perfect hits that he couldn't do again in 100 tries. Was the perfect shot from that spot on the field.

Ref was horrible, but the linesmans have been worse, both sides.

while thats nice...its not shockign at all...
lol it's probably the first time a player in the WC scored OUTSIDE the box with each leg... keep the hate comin'...

how many players do you have with more than one goal? most goals are scored in the box...so how many players with two goals outside of the box do you have?...and so on
one with each leg outside the box? that skillset is unique to Forlan... I didn't see Messi, Ronaldo, Luis Fabiano and the rest of the celebrated stars with such feat...

but he is really good...as much as I love him, I hate Suarez (not for the handball, but for his coments --celebrating himsel-- afterwards)!
You're new to soccer and the WC if you're mad about that...

Really torn about that game. I love to have a small number of teams, that have won it (so I would have to be for Uruguay), but Holland would give Spain a nicer fight and would be the perfect matchup for Germany!
torn about what? about following your instinct and do whatever it takes to win?

Btw, I think the ball barely touched a Holland defender on the head and that threw the goalie off.
