Wow you could just sense something was wrong before it happened. First you heard the groans from the crowd. And then the ump's reaction said it all. How he just turned and started walking the other way. I hope the dude's okay.
holy ...im glad this wasnt caught on camera...

I saw that on the game, was supposed to be at the game tonight but had tp turn down tickets along that first base area. Insane, hope the dude is ok.
So far news is good. broadcast says he is moving and responsive.
They just reported that the fan is responsive and is moving.
dudes ok...vlad homerun!
Rangers looking good...White Sox winning at US Cellular...we could get back up to 4.5....let's do this boys...

lolololol indians
The next game on my plan is tomorrow. I'm going through a weird stretch where there are three games within 10 days. But then the next game isn't for a few weeks. I'll be looking to improve my record to 8-1.
Good to see our bats have woken up after a few games of them being asleep. Hopefully the White Sox can take care of business. Lucky that the Angels have slumped right there along with us and haven't gained any ground since our series with them.
Just the Rangers beating a team they're supposed to beat. Nothing to see here.![]()
Last night the Indians thought they could just hit some balls but their bull fluke hits eventually run out. What happens when the hitters cant hit? Then what? The pitching isn't going to save them. The Rangers are just beating a team they're supposed to beat. No surprises here. Nothing to see here folks, move along.
Good to see we're back.
I feel bad for Beltre, because i doubt he'll stay up much longer if at all. It's too bad he was thrown in during a pennant race. Its essential we take care of the Indians and the O's coming up because we get to go to Boston and Detroit after the AS Break and I'm sure we'll lose a few of those games
that's crazy...damn..glad they didn't show that one...seemed like Nelson Cruz saw it...that look in his eyes..complete fear.
White Sox beat the Angels again. Back to 4.5 up! I wish we could get it above 5 for once. It has gone back and forth between 3.5 and 4.5 for a long time.
Now that I know that the dude is ok I'd like to see it. Wish that footage was somewhere available.
Maybe someone taped it, pretty ed up though but glad he is aight
damn..thats some insane .
The Indians players immediately praying for him and I think it was Borbon coming out of the dugout with his hands on his head, just sickening.
I don't wish to see such footage. Theres times where we don't need to see everything.
thats kinda how I feel. If the guy died, I probably would just leave it alone.
But now that I know hes ok, I kinda would like to see it tbh
gonna be a bad week for Cleveland, tbh
so im fairly new to the baseball scene...bandwagoning on the Rangers wagon!
A few questions:
1) When someone in first base tries to steal second base, does the defensive player on second have to tag the player stealing base or can he simply catch the ball while his foot is on the base?
2) Why do catchers tag the batter after a 3rd strike?
1) Tag, because it is not a force out on a steal. It's a force out if it's a ground out.
2) That happens only under certain cir stances. First, if the catcher doesn't cleanly catch the ball after the hitter swings and misses (no foul tip), then the catcher must tag. The batter can run to first (if he's alert), but the catcher would then just have to throw to first to get him out (it would still go down as a strikeout, and then a put-out for the catcher). The batter is rarely gonna make it to first safely. It will usually only happen if the third strike was a wild pitch.
HOWEVER, all the above only occurs if first base is open. If there is someone already on first base, then it's a strikeout without having to tag the batter.
1) What happens if the second baseman catches the ball with his foot on the base...a split second later the base stealer tags the the base. Is he safe cuz the second baseman didnt physically tag him with the glove/ball?
2) now that i come to think of it...everytime i see a catcher tag the batter, its because of a bobbled ball, but usually the batter is already turning to the dugout.
So since ur a Laker fan pretending to be a Spur fan, what does this mean for baseball? We know the Ranger fan part is a front, so are you really a Yankee or Angel fan?
