He has contributed millions of dollars to the Republican Governors Association, various Rick Perry campaigns and to current Republican members of the Texas Supreme Court (Source: FEC, Texas Ethics Commission).

The Texas GOP is in pretty good shape if it can put out a platform that calls for the criminalization of sodomy and escape with angry emails at worst. This is just politics as usual. They'd be stupid not to do this and frankly the Dems should be doing the same thing with Libertarians (if they aren't already).

Perry questioned whether the spill was 'just an act of God that occurred' and said that any 'politically driven' decisions could put the U.S. in further economic peril. 'From time to time there are going to be things that occur that are acts of God that cannot be prevented,' Perry said."
The spill wasn't BPs fault at all according to our Governor but an act of god like hurricanes and volcanoes...
We haven't shut down all drilling in the gulf and there are no plans to do so. Perry is lying.
