But if the Heat sign LeBron, they have no one else on the team but minimum contract players for next season. They'd have to wait for next summer to get an MLE player, an LLE player, and a first round pick (if they have one) to add some talent and depth beyond the first three.

So it really shouldn't make Lakers fans sweat really at all, especially in 2-3 years, Chris Paul and Dwight Howard will probably be Lakers by then.

There were several talks during the season about Kobe's decline, that's cause he spent longs portions of it having rough stretches. Not beign able to perform as well and as consistent as you used to are signs of slowing down. And he shot 40% from the field in the last playoffs series he played.
