It only makes sense if LeBron is not coming. Then it would make a lot of sense.
What happened to the empty threat of banning people who post fake news.
nah, it's true

Miller has been told by Miami that the team is "confident" LeBron is coming. Miller could likely earn more money with New York Knicks.

so maybe Pat Riley is going to break out the SHOWTIME LAKER playbook??
Lebron at Point-Forward or something? 6'9 Magic Johnson PG type of stuff ?? lolol
or Miller comes off bench?
How do they have the salary to sign him??????/ WTF

This is what I don't get, they can't sign LeBron and Miller to this contract.
How is it the Heat clear enough cap space for LeBron AND Miller at somewhere between $5-6M per season?
Dwyane Wade said he and Bosh were not opposed to taking less $$ to get help.
uhoh. line up the trophies, gentlemen.
rofl, so 3 maxdeals and 5 mio for Miller? Sure
Not even possible with dumping Beasley to the Raps in a S&T
listen to the Wade and Bosh interview yesterday.
"We are not opposed to taking less money to bring in guys to help us"
Why would they extend that offer then. This Goodman guy was the one that reported on the Lakers Miller offer and we all know how that turned out.
It does not add op or make sense.
Probably his agent just trying to posture for more offers.
When NBA guys mean less money they don't mean THAT much. Not at the prime of their careers.
They are probably hedging for "just in case" LeBron does not come.
Maybe Miami has a Beasley deal in the works
$1.5 million less from Wade, Bosh, and LeBron = $6mil Mike Miller (Heat have $1.8mil in space)
They still need a PG or a C (unless they plan at putting Wade at point)
it can't be that
because the tweet says the HEAT told Miller that they are confident LeBron is coming to Miami.
So they want Miller either in a Wade-LeBron-Miller lineup, or off the bench sometimes.
