If Stern rigs it, the Heat will make it to the Finals possibly beating the Lakers in 7 games. If it's not rigged, the Heat will either go out in the first round or not even make the playoffs. This whole thing has trainwreck written all over it. Anyone remember the 2003-2004 Lakers? They choked in the Finals. The 2007-2008 Celtics were a different story. They played "team ball" the whole way and it was probably a big reason why they won the championship that season. I just don't see the Heat playing team ball with Lebron, Wade, and Bosh. People are going to see and hear a lot of "I want the ball" or "give me the ball".

The 2004 Lakers had 2 of 4 HOFers that were well past their prime, and Malone was injured in the Finals..I don't know why people ignore that..

Lebron, Wade and Bosh have never been accused of selfish play..this isn't Corey Maggette and Jamal Crawford..

Not Ray Allen, so they've already got a leg up on Boston.

I think people are underestimating the kind of supporting cast this team will be able to put together. I imagine something like this, all right at or near the minimum:

    Beasley
    Chalmers
    Carlos Arroyo
    Roger Mason
    Brian Cardinal
    Malik Allen
    Joel Anthony

Sure, that's not great. But it's all decent, capable nba players that can be had for the minimum. If they can somehow work a way to get a decent center, they're set.

My big question is... who gets the ball during crunch time?
Wade. Is there even a question? Better freethrow shooter, has better clutch instincts

LeBron and Wade struggling for #1 is the main thing. Bosh is a pussy so he'll fit in well.

Saving this! Only one more season of the OBSESSION!!!! Awesome.

Care to put some money on it? I'll bet you any amount the Heat don't win it all next year.

Predicted stats for the big gay three:

    Lebron: 25 ppg, 8rbds, 6 assts
    Wade: 25.5 ppg, 6 rbds, 5 assts
    Bosh: 17 ppg, 9 rbds, 3 ssts

Miami will win 60 games in the reg. season but won't win it all.

Does Miami have any cap space left to make some more changes? They need some shooters and a center. And remember that in every play either Lebron or Wade or both will have to play off the ball and they aren't superstars doing that, they don't have a reliable jumpers to play off the ball.

They won't win next year. There will be no chemistry and they won't know how to change their game from being the Man on a team, to "sharing". No bench aswell.

They will blow it up in a couple of years.

Everyone said the EXACT same thing about Boston in 2008. I say they lose to LA in the finals next year and then at the minimum 3-peat.

Kobe was garbage the entire Olympics outside one half of one quarter of one game, and even then, his defense was terrible during that stretch.

BUT HE HAD A 4 POINT PLAY OMGZZZ!!111.

You Kobe -suckers severely overrate his performance in '08 Beijing. For Christ's sake, he shot 30% against Angola...lol.

What's wrong with thinking that this whole thing is going to be a trainwreck? Do you honestly think these guys are going to be able to share the ball and the spotlight? Bosh was the main man in Toronto. Wade was the main man in Miami and Lebron was the main man in Cleveland. None of those 3 players have ever been a supporting player. I just don't see how it's going to work.

I can admit that KG and Paul Pierce somewhat bags and pricks but they were able to ease off on their egos and at udes and win a championship. They played team ball. Plain and simple. You could say maturity might have been a factor since KG, Allen, and Pierce are more mature and older than Lebron, Wade, and Bosh.

Agreed that Wade should be "the man" in the clutch. Just wondering if LeBron will be cool with that. I think this whole saga has shown he loves the spotlight.
