Sure we would have reacted had Kobe left back then. However most Lakers fans felt just like Kobe and wanted management to do something; which they did.
However I don't think Kobe would do a 1 hour special on national TV in prime time to say you LA.
If Kobe did a 1 hour ESPN Special to announce he was leaving for South Beach, there wouldn't be an L.A. left.
It wasnt that he left, it was the way he left. Youd be acting just as salty if your top player did a TV special to announce his departure.
