I'd say Kobe and 6 would be worse than the Miami s winning a le, but I think your two choices are flawed.
You say it will determine who you root against in the finals next year. But you should also consider the long term consequences. What if the Miami s go on to win next year and the next 4 years after that. If you root against Kobe getting 6 but then Miami wins the next 5, in retrospect, you may have wished you rooted against the Miami s.
Just a thought.
