They'll have no one to guard Howard at all in that case. Howard kicked the dog out of Big Z in the 2009 Conference Finals. Plus Z looked done last year. Not sure if it will make a difference though.

i don't think haslem will be getting a drastic paycut. this will be his last big contract. heat might have no choice but to give him $6-7 million or he walks. might be worth it though. haslem is wade's fisher.

im not arguing with you, howard vs shaq , howard wins, but by 5 percent at most, if all you have to worry about is Howard the Magic are still ed with the rest of their roster, their toughest player was matt barnes last year
I'm just saying Shaq vs Z is pretty much a wash. Shaq might have easier times defensively but Z has a better shot/range. Plus Z would probably go for vet min while Shaq wants MLE or close to it.

Naw, the whole reason Cleveland got Shaq was because Howard on Z. And Shaq did a good job on Dwight in the regular season last year. He's still stronger than Howard.

They should get at least one big huge body to keep Howard from setting up right under the rim before every play. that 300 lb scrub Fesenko from Utah would be better than nothing. Maybe him plus Z.
