i was expecting much worse. good job! good production and effort and what have you, but its very generic sounding music, sorry to say. there's nothing that jumps out and makes it special.
I was expecting the worst, and lo and behold... It was much worse than I could have ever imagined.

I liked it. I agree it sounds like early 90's rock but I happen to like the music from that time, like Live,foo fighters, Hootie and the Blowfish, among many others.

It's very good. I have a couple comments though.
"father's son, mother's son."
one of them had to let you down.
I'd pick gun for one of them instead of son, as appropriate.
Also, the words and the music don't match too well.
The lyrics seem like they could be serious, maybe even a little dark.
However the music, that music is all about joy, and jumping around and being happy.
So it's a bit of a conflict in my humble, no talent opinion, so take it for what it's worth.

Sounds like Bearnaked Ladies mixed with a popier Gin Blossoms...heavy on the 90s, but could still be played on Magic and KQXT if it wasn't about fisting es.
I'm guessing it can get some plays on college radio here and Texas State, not bad a bad video either.
