Haha yeah son..that's a funny one...kid keeps pulling out stuff for Dirk to sign and he keeps signing it.

Not sure if you're being serious or trying to clown a but Dirk is truly a good guy and player. Props to him...a real King

No I was being for real. Class act, but stop calling him a King. The only players in the league today that could possibly deserve that le are Tim Duncan and Kobe Bryant.

If Dirk were to leave, there's no way i'd act the same way Cleveland fans did about LeBron. even if we went to the Lakers, i'd shed a tear of happiness

    Man deserves a ring!

    Fellas, silence is not inactivity.

Dirk has no choice but to stay. We are slowly building a championship team. By straying away from the young unproven guys like Wade, LeBron, and Jefferson, instead we are taking a better approach and loading up our team with veteran savvy players.

Our first target was Jermain O'Neal. The veteran savvy he brings to the table would of been something we liked, we didn't get him, but hey it happens.

LeBron was offered straight up for JJ Barea. This is an example of silence not being inactivity. LeBron is a pretty gifted player and he'll be a nice player someday but he doesn't bring Barea's veteran savvy and experience to the table. Our biggest move though, was probably holding on to Dampier. He is gonna be the cornerstone of the franchise for years. A dominant 6th man who's veteran savvy carries throughout the team and down to the D-League

Roddy Beaubois is also ready to emerge as our 13th man. Hopefully we can play him about a minute a week in hopes that maybe someday he can develop the same veteran savvy that will carry us to the le this season

Both Dirk and Nash are deserving of a championship but will never get one. I wish they stayed together in retrospect to see what could have happened.

For being a loyal guy and trying his best to LEAD his team to thier first championship. One day, he might have to leave to chase a ring...but that'll be during his downside years. But at this point, he knows he still has what it takes...

    Respect!
and then what happens if dirk never wins a championship and lebron has two? i know your going to respect dirk...but dirk will feel like for staying...lol

At least Dirk won a game in the Finals. Dirk is and has always been a more humble classy guy than Lebron and a lot of players in the NBA. Tim Duncan is the same way too. I don't know what it is but some of these young players in the NBA are just really y selfish classless s. It's good that loyalty and class still exist in the NBA. Props to Dirk and Duncan.

    People don't get it.

I'm not about to quote Miley Cyrus here, but it's all about the climb to reach the top. That's what makes the end result so sweet. Truly great compe ive players relish the challenge.

Lebron made an attempt, I'll give him that, but realized that he's not a truly great compe ive players. He's Scottie Pippen 2.0, he wants to be the sidekick to D-Wade and coast his way to les.

How do you feel about Kobe kicking and screaming wanting to jump ship and abandon his team through the only period in which they werent having any success?

Kobe was frustrated because the FO was not surrounding him with remotely decent talent. Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, Luke Walton...I can go on here. His teams never had a snowball's chance in of winning and it did not seem like the FO was legitimately doing everything they could to put a winner around him. He had every right to be upset and want to leave that situation. I didn't like the way he went about it, but he certainly had a valid reason for wanting to leave.

Lebron's teams in the last two seasons have had the best regular season record of any team. Say what you will, but clearly they can't be that bad if they can amass 60+ wins. Furthermore, it was clear the Cavs were doing everything they could to surround James with talent. They went over the cap, and legitimately tried to attract every big name FA they could get to come play with Lebron.

Two totally different situations. Kobe would NEVER walk away from a challenge the way Lebron just did. He may have wanted out of LA at one point, but he would never join a superstar cast to be the #2 option. That's the difference between the two, now please remove Lebron's out of your mouth.

Plus, Lebron's heart was never fully in Cleveland. Good luck drawing free agents and/or elite head coaching to Cleveland when free agents and coaches are watching Lebron chillin' with Jay-Z and CC Sabathia while wearing a Yankees cap and creating as much buzz about 2010 free agency as possible. We all know Tom Izzo takes that job if he knew Lebron was there long term. If Lebron showed the commitment Kobe showed, Cleveland woulda been able to get quality free agents like Ron Artest at a discount because it was a guarantee they'd be playing with Lebron. Instead, they had to overpay for whatever free agents they could bring in because said free agents were worried about the risk of life on the Cavs after Lebron.

Fine by me...woke up Jerry Buss and got Gasol for Kwame Brown...dropped Smush Parker for Derek Fisher...traded Brian Cook for Trevor Ariza.

Thank God for the kicking and screaming. At the end...he stuck with LA and is now going for another three-peat.

-Lebron was in Cleveland for a LONG time, and he never said a word about the mediocre supporting casts they gave him..

-The Cavs had plenty of time..PLENTY OF TIME to get him a proper supporting cast..you're blaming 1 off-season for their incompetence during Lebron's entire career there?..

-Kobe's commitment?..throwing your teammates and the organization under the bus is being committed? LOL..please..even if Kobe was committed, which he wasn't, playing in LA is a lot different than playing in Cleveland..

-That last line is so horrible..it's actually some of the worst logic I've ever heard of..hate him if you want, but you're really going to use this as an argument?..

We saw the ceiling of that combo due to Nash's level of lateral quickness being that of cobbler's.

I give you credit, you have absolutely no shame admitting you're a bandwagon fan.

Face it, Kobe has shown more loyalty to LA than Lebron ever showed to Cleveland. I know it sucks because it debunks all your arguments, but it's pretty clear Lebron's heart was never fully invested in Cleveland.

It's pretty funny that HarlemHo blindly defends a player he has no reason to cheer for and goes against what all former or current NBA players say. Why is a Spurs fan such a giant Lebron fan?

yeah Cleveland shoulda known that when lebron chose the number 23 he really had no interest in being Cleveland's MJ. He shoulda chosen the number 33, that way Cleveland would know what they're getting.

    I don't understand this argument..

Your main argument is that Lebron's heart was never fully invested in Cleveland..how the do you know this?..are you World Wide Wes?..you're just assuming something that you can't prove?..

How has Kobe shown loyalty after ting on the entire organization and trying hard to get traded?..you do realize that Kobe has already done almost everything you've criticized Lebron for, right?..

It's pretty funny that HarlemHo blindly defends a player he has no reason to cheer for and goes against what all former or current NBA players say. Why is a Spurs fan such a giant Lebron fan?
How am I going against what NBA players are saying?..in what way?..

I don't understand the bandwagon fan talk..if you want to call me a bandwagon fan because I like the Spurs and don't live there, feel free, it's a valid argument..

Calling me a bandwagon fan because I like non-Spurs players is stupid though..

Goran Dragic, the poster here, (and the player he was sick in these playoffs) is the man!

Seriously thanks for showing how stupid MiamiHeat is. Dude contradicts himself so much.

I don't understand how people can love LeBron so much. Both him and Kobe are amazing talents that have their shortcomings with their character. At least Kobe shuts up and put the work to become a winner though. I will respect that any day of the week.

LBJ is disloyal. Running around with his Bulls jersey and Yankees hat and Dallas Cowboy gear when he claims to understand where the Clevelanders come from. BS. But what's the problem with rooting for other teams? He can be a fan of them. Absolutely. But when push came to shove he bolted as fast as he could and he let his hometown hang on the ropes to him until the last seconds.

    What a disgrace.
