You my friend are a ing idiot. He was a pivotal piece in our championship run in 07. that in itself should exclude him from the list.

finley and bowen were both done. neither of them should have been retained and pop realized that soon enough (hints why finley ended the season in boston)

Finley was also the beginning of the spurs going away from a defense first philosophy and also caused pop to have double standards as far as coming down hard on players blowing defensive assignments.

If someone blew an assigment Pop would pull them or give them an earful--except for finley.

I truly believe that the championship the spurs won in 2007---was in spite of finley---not because of finley.

I'm a big Finley hater myself but I cant deny that he did something in his time here.

He was key in Game 5 against Denver in 2007.
He hit the game tying shot against Phoenix in Game 1 in 08.
He pretty much made this team get the 3rd seed last year by tying the game vs New Orleans.
