It really sucks, damnit. But im not that kind of a person who is going to talk hateful after a loss. So Im writing something here, so you dont think im a bad loser lol. I think both teams were pretty even tonight. It was a hard, freaking nervous game.
Both teams were playing hard, but the ref should have taken it a bit easy with the cards I think. I dont like this ref at all, although he helped the Netherlands a lot tonight too. But the ref doesnt matter, im not blaming him. Its our fault. We could have done it, but we didnt. Simple as that. We had some good chances. Especially the one of Robben all alone on the GK. That one should have just been a goal.
Im already glad we came this far, not in my wildest dreams would i have thought they would play in the final. Its awesome and im glad I got the chance to see and live it. The team did a wonderful job and our coach is awesome. He only lost 2 times with this team since he became coach, If im correct. That's an amazing acomplishment.

I'm sorry Bukefal but the ref DID take it easy on the cards. You should have had a man sent off in the first half.
Yeah, the game was hard, very hard and as ive said, he also helped us a lot on times where he could give another card but he didnt. But some cards were unnecessary i think.
I might be in the minority but I think Webb called the game brilliantly. The only questionable calls may be the missed corner kick for Holland and challenge by De Jong. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he was blocked from getting a good view of the ball on the corner kick. For the challenge on De Jong, that should be a red every time. I got the feeling he didn't want to turn the game so quickly. De Jong was no where near the ball.
Both teams came out nervously and made rash challenges throughout. Webb called the game appropriately.
I think he did a good job of keeping it in the players hands and not wanting to send people off. He did a lot of warning when he could have easily given cards. I don't think he did poorly either. The missed corner at the end is obviously pretty big but I think Holland got plenty of breaks along the way too so it was fairly even.
But again, dont think im blaming the ref or something. I dont. We could have done something, we didnt. thats it. Spain won, deserved it and is champion. It sucks badly but its just how it is. Now 2010 is just another number to the list; 74 78 2010We are doomed.
